It's getting harder and harder to find good single stage paints any more that can be mixed in the old colors, let alone those that are half-way affordable, since the refinish business has totally gone base/clear.Year old Nason Ful-Thane cut and buff. I have a car that was sprayed last September with Nason Ful-Thane single stage urethane (solid color). It has been stored inside since being painted. The paint job came out glassy smooth but I have some dirt and dust nibs in the paint. My question is what grit should I sand it with to remove the nibs.one thing to keep in mind is the finish may dull out in a month after the initial cut/buff. nason is pretty easy to wet sand and buff after a month from what i have experienced with it. i noticed that if i do the wet sanding/buffing right after painting, it dulls out in about a month due to the paint curing and shrinking a little. so i prefer to have a vehicle back in a month or so and do it ...Oct 23, 2013 · 8-1-2 ratio is for Nason Ful-Thane single stage . Check the label on the can of color for the correct ratio and hardener numbers . If the lower door is your only problem why not just respray the door to the side mldg just above the handle .
